Overview

Zeebu, Web3 payment platform, aimed to create an engaging airdrop campaign to reward users while onboarding new members into the ecosystem. The primary goal was to design a seamless and user-friendly interface that simplified the process of claiming rewards, ensured transparency, and aligned with Zeebu’s brand ethos. The design needed to cater to both crypto-savvy users and those new to blockchain technology.

Initial Challenges

  1. Diverse User Base:

    • The target audience ranged from blockchain enthusiasts familiar with airdrops to newcomers unfamiliar with Web3 mechanics. Catering to such a wide spectrum of users posed a challenge in terms of accessibility and usability.

  2. Simplifying Complexity:

    • The airdrop involved technical processes such as wallet connection, token claims, and gas fee calculations. Simplifying these steps while maintaining accuracy and security was critical.

  3. Trust and Transparency:

    • Given the prevalence of scams in the crypto space, it was essential to design an interface that fostered user trust through clear and transparent communication.

  4. Scalability:

    • The UI/UX needed to accommodate future campaigns with minimal redesign, ensuring scalability and adaptability.

Research & Brand Immersion

  1. User Research:
    Conducted interviews with a diverse group of potential users to understand their pain points and expectations regarding airdrop campaigns.
    Gathered insights from Zeebu’s community forums and support tickets to identify common challenges users faced with similar features.

    Analyzed the UI/UX of airdrop campaigns from leading Web3 platforms.
    Identified best practices and avoided pitfalls such as confusing navigation and inadequate onboarding.

  3. Brand Alignment:
    Immersed in Zeebu’s visual and tonal guidelines to ensure consistency across the campaign.
    Focused on using Zeebu’s core color palette and typography while incorporating engaging micro-interactions to enhance user delight.

  4. Technical Feasibility:
    Collaborated with Zeebu’s blockchain development team to understand the technical requirements and limitations of wallet integrations, token distribution, and gas fee management.

    • Added visual feedback to confirm successful wallet connections.

  • Claim Dashboard:

    • Developed a centralized dashboard displaying token eligibility, claim status, and estimated gas fees.

    • Included progress indicators to show completed and pending steps.

  • Gamification Elements:

    • Incorporated gamified visuals, such as confetti animations and progress badges, to make the experience more engaging.

  • Mobile-Responsive Design:

    • Ensured a seamless experience across devices by optimizing layouts and interactions for mobile users.
